KAMUT - White Kamut Flour

Kamut flour is one of the ancient grains. A relative of modern durum wheats. Ideal for people who may be sensitive to modern wheat products. It contains 0% fructose which makes it ideal for people who have fructose malabsorption issues. Kamut is not gluten free. Kamut is generally higher in prtoein when compared to wheat grown under similar environments. The dough properties of Kamut are good as evidenced by excellent bread volumes and texture. Use it to make bread, cakes, muffins, cookies, pancakes, noodles or pasta.

Ancient wheats have a protein structure that is more easily digested than modern wheats and many sufferers of wheat intolerances and IBS symptoms are able to tolerate the Spelt and Khorasan/Kamut by Sustainable Farmers of Australia.
